Wine Tasting & Appreciation

Wine Group runs in two consecutive evening sessions in Pewsey on the evening of the third Thursday of each month.

Each time, the theme is chosen and presented by one or two of the members. They can choose wines by type, by grape, by country, by geographical area (eg Old World vs New World), by what’s good in the shops, by what’s unusual. Tastings can be accompanied by notes, or else be blind with the details revealed after we’ve tasted and pronounced on them. We’ve also had smell tests and even the occasional quiz.

Whichever way we do it, it’s always tasty, informative and very good fun. Our meetings are usually very well attended, but we can usually accommodate one or two more members.  Interested?
